The Moody Decksaloon 41 has always been highly regarded internationally by sailors and expert judges alike. It was recognised as the best boat of the year 2020 at the British Yachting Awards. Now the American magazine Cruising World has also awarded the DS 41 as ‘Boat of the Year 2023’ in the category ‘Best Full-Size Cruiser’.
“The most impressive thing about the Moody 41 DS is not only the 360-degree view from the saloon, but also the ergonomic use of the interior space, the high stanchion with the fixed stainless steel railing surrounding the entire deck. The sailing performance was close to 8 knots in a wind of around 13 knots,” said judge Mark Pillsbury.
The Moody 41 DS will also compete for American Sail Magazine’s Best Boats Award 2023. Nautigamma, which represents Moody for Italy, has its fingers crossed and hopes that the DS 41 will also be recognised for this award. He deserves it! Good wind to everyone.
